2. Data we collect
The information you give us when you place an order or contact us — name, email, phone, delivery and billing address — together with order history and, with your consent, newsletter preferences. Payment card details are handled by our payment processor and never stored on our servers.
3. Why we process it
To fulfil and deliver your order, provide customer service, meet accounting and consumer-protection obligations, prevent fraud, and — only where you have opted in — send you the Aurora Letter.
4. Cookies and analytics
We use essential cookies to keep your cart and language preference, and privacy-friendly analytics to understand which products interest visitors. You can decline non-essential cookies at any time without losing shop functionality.
5. Sharing
Data is shared only with the processors needed to run the store: payment providers, delivery partners, our email platform and our hosting provider. All are bound by data-processing agreements and process data inside the EU/EEA where possible.
6. Retention
Order data is retained for six years to satisfy Finnish accounting law. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Contact-form messages are deleted after 24 months.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you may request access to, correction of, or erasure of your data, restrict or object to processing, and request portability. Write to info@aurorabeauty.fi and we will respond within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman.
